Ahhhh…business class flights, it is something my husband and I have always dreamed of but never felt like we could afford. These flights can cost upwards of $10,000 per person (sometimes more!). Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card were two of our first travel credit cards that allowed us to take business class flights on Virgin Atlantic through transferring the points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club . How did we do that you ask?
Well, by hitting the required spend on both cards plus our everyday spending on the cards for about six months, we were able to save up enough points to transfer them to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and buy ourselves business class tickets from Washington D.C. to the Maldives! The key to finding award availability is to look early! We purchased these about a year prior to our trip. These seats were valued at about $20,000 total and we were able to get them with our points and about $1,000 in airport/airline fees. A steal if you ask us.
